Traffic Exchange Builds My List For FREE

I may have found a new way to build an email list.

These traffic exchanges where you surf other marketers’ sites and in turn you earn credits to have your sites shown to them.

When I first heard of them I did what I now see others doing and that is relying on this type of traffic to get visitors to visit any site when the folks that are actually clicking on links are just trying to get visitors to their offer.

Now, I have a different take on this type of traffic source.

I know, because it applies to me as well, that people who are surfing these sites need traffic!

I will never advertise any website that I am an affiliate of on these sites again knowing what I now know.

These exchanges have the type of visitors that I can cater to.

I am creating landing pages that build my list when people sign up to my promotion.

I build squeeze pages that offer to generate traffic. That is what these folks want, I know because it’s what I want and why I’m there.

I just figured out my new plan last night.

I also began getting sign-ups to my list by using special targeted squeeze pages that are directed at those who are seeking to build up a list of email subscribers using free adswap type traffic.

I am getting the sign-ups on my list and I created a campaign to promote a list-building software.

Let me be clear, I know that what I am doing works to get subscribers from this source of leads but I am still a novice when it comes to converting subscribers into paying customers.

I am actively working on cracking this code but it proves elusive.

Copywriting is working to get me more subscribers on my email list but I am still lost when it comes to conversions. I am looking toward the future and having a large list of subscribers to market to because I believe that my ad copywriting is ok it is just that I don’t have the recognizability of other trusted marketers and I don’t have social proof that my money making methods will work.

What I am working on is getting better at building a list of prospects and by proving to them that my traffic methods work they will gain trust, and leave testimonials, and that in turn will lead to converting new leads into customers.

I guess that means I have to find a way to get my leads to see the success I am having (or at least give them access to this idea I’m having success with) so they can copy me and I gain some credibility in their eyes.

What is the plan to do this?

This is an evergreen market. I used to spend hours with a special browser and tons of links promoting different exchanges and getting nowhere.

Yesterday and today I’ve spent a bit of time (off and on about 4 hours?) and I have added 6 leads to my list.

I had no idea this was going to work at all, in fact I was quite skeptical!

I know it’s not tons of subscribers or the top way I want to spend my time but it is working without requiring me to spend money.

That gives me opportunity to improve my results and I have an idea how…

If I send my lists an email that talks about my success in a way that shows my excitement because of my success but not too much hype that it is unrealistic that should get me some traction to help my efforts.

This is the part where I must make a decision.

If I send visitors that also sign up under me I get a bonus of traffic. If I am a paying customer I will get a bonus of traffic and earn a commission when someone I recommend buys.
