Segmenting My Email List – Demystified
I made 3 simple segments in my email list today after the realization of a “hack” that improved my open rates from 10% to 75% in 3 emails…
There are ways to write these progressions as huge percent gains and the rate of gain…
The bottom line is I sent my messages, broadcasts, to only those subscribers who opened the last email, twice, and it resulted in a huge explosion of open rates from just over 10% to exactly 75% in my last email.
That doesn’t mean that I am consistently getting all my sends opened at this rate it just means that by manipulating who gets my emails I can make my numbers do something phenomenal sounding while still getting 0 clicks on the links in those emails.
For now, I am only culling the subscribers who are non-responsive, meaning they haven’t opened an email from me in over 90 days even after being sent my re-engagement series.
In the future I may end up removing the subscribers who don’t ever click even though they open my emails.
Presently the opens are giving me positive numbers but I am not getting the reactions that help me get money.
That is why I have an ulterior motive in the processes of building business credit.
Regardless of whether or not anyone ever subscribes to my email list or ever clicks a link, even if they never open one email my business will still have huge lines of credit that can be used to invest in other assets that make money or in better ads and messages to make the biz successful.
The point is I am building a valuable resource/asset regardless of the success of the actual business, it is successful before it has a customer, in my eyes, if it has a line of credit, unsecured and over $25k!
With my patience, willingness, perseverance, and knowledge, I can leverage the credit to start more of these simple LLCs and invest that income in dividend-paying funds.
This is the process I am working on, not the one I am following, yet, just a rough idea that I am sending traffic to and seeing what sticks.
There are many aspects I can comment from and there are many processes I can explain but I don’t know what my list wants and today I don’t even know how to get my list to respond to me at all.
I am using AI to help get me through some rough spots, create content, and keep me moving forward.
The credit angle keeps me going and I believe if I keep sending my message out to the public there will eventually be someone who hears me.
I can explore YouTube but first I am looking into Propeller Ads, and it is new and confusing but looks to be affordable. I am gathering data, seting up a plan and writing a short guide on how to copy my success, when I get there.
For now that’s all, stay tuned. I will keep monitoring my traffic and improve/scale where I find siuccess.
