Niche Finding Research

Steps to Uncover Your First, or Next Profitable Niche

I found a list of trigger words from a guy named Marcus Campbell that I am going to use to start my keyword research.

  1. I am choosing the trigger word “Help” which I am plugging into my ahrefs keyword research tool.
  2. Clicking view all I notice over 5 million keywords related to help!
  3. Setting keyword difficulty to 3 or less Google sheets spreadsheet 50 words free – GET IT HERE
  4. Look for Niche Ideas – mine are noted on spreadsheet above.
  5. Look for related domains

For the domains:

I am using spamzilla and Godaddy auctions to find potential sites for the niche I am targeting. There is still more keyword research to do to find more terms that relate to the same niche that can drive traffic to the products I choose to promote.

For free traffic I need more research on what’s ranking in the search engines now for one of the niche keywords I chose. Part of me is feeling like there is more to this that I need to do before moving forward. But this is just a preliminary list. The report has over 16,000 keywords in total. I just took the first page of the results sorted by volume of searches per month. I found a few niches there. I am looking at the tums/antacid searches. I think there is a niche market there that I can target.

I will do more deep diving in the niche to find even more words that have intent to buy the same sort of product. I will use those words to send traffic to an offer page, preferably on my own website but for this experiment I am going to use a site like weebly.com to host my landing page. This market is probably going to need dieting tips or medical advice. There are ways to help this market by showing them ways to fix their problems. They may even be candidates for gardening products or info books.

Do you see how the choices can slow you down?

Even though all this can be done by you wouldn’t it be easier to just put together a team of people you go to for each part of this process to have it done for you?

This sort of activity is a way to help the economy. You hire people to do things for you and you pay them fairly. You use your skills to add value by placing the information in front of the people that are looking for it and offer them a related product to help them out and you get paid for solving their problem.

There are so many steps to each part of this business that one person would be overwhelmed if doing it all alone.

In my next update I will show you my weebly site and discuss how I plan to use other free sites to post more of my content for free and have that content drive traffic to my weebly site.
