Another Random Thought on SEO
It seems like AI is going to make it easy to get ranked for low competition keywords.
With that I can create tons of content and put it out and see what sticks.
Whatever starts getting traffic I can start giving it more attention, monetize it and optimize it!
I do spend time with my articles to make sure they make sense and I sometime take it’s advice. It has some pretty good tips and instructions to do things in obscure topics.
Every day I am putting up something. I am looking into AI videos with text to speech software.
Quick Update – 2-25-23
ChatGPT has been putting in hours of work for me. I have been getting lots of content written and posted on my sites and it’s starting to get rankings for my sites.
One of my mentors, Marcus Campbell talks about hijacking or rather a using “traffic boosters” to get ranked for keywords.
What that means is you utilize guest blog posts, press release sites and social media properties that can easily rank for higher competition keywords.
Create content and send the traffic from the site like PRLog.com or medium.com to your site.
I don’t fully understand the method, because I am not sure if I should be optimizing my site for the same keyword as the other property or if I am just relying on the other site to send traffic to an offer that I am generating the traffic for. For example:
If I wanted to rank for “dog training guide” and I believed I could rank for it using medium.com, would I create an informational article on the topic and post it on medium and link to my site or to the offer?
I think both are viable but I also believe that one may be for short term and the other for long term.
For short term I’d just put an affiliate link to the product I’m promoting – “dog training guide” – and utilize the easier to rank for site to quickly gain a highly trafficked site’s popularity power.
The long term play would be to, I think, write or create videos for the same keyword on multiple sites and link them all back to my main site for the “link juice” combined to make my site the authority.
I think that last sentence I wrote just clarified to me what I’d been missing in my thoughts.
Which is now starting to make more sense with the ChatGPT suggestions Marcus Campbell makes in one of his more recent Youtube videos.
Time to get to work testing this theory out. And, if I document my finding and they are positive as I am expecting then I will also have my own product to sell – and it won’t be a “dog training guide”!
Use a Press Release To Generate Traffic to A New Site?
Here’s an outline for a marketing funnel using a press release to rank for a high search volume keyword:
- Keyword research: Research and identify a high search volume keyword related to your business or product.
- Press release creation: Create a newsworthy press release with an attention-grabbing headline and a compelling story related to the keyword you’ve chosen. Make sure to include the keyword in the headline, subheadings, and body of the press release.
- Press release distribution: Distribute the press release to high authority news sites, such as PRNewswire, BusinessWire, or MarketWatch. This will help your press release to rank higher on search engines and increase your chances of getting noticed by potential customers.
- Landing page creation: Create a landing page on your website that is optimized for the same keyword used in your press release. The landing page should provide more detailed information about your product or service and encourage visitors to take action.
- SEO optimization: Optimize your landing page with on-page SEO techniques such as using the keyword in the page title, meta description, URL, and header tags. This will help your landing page to rank higher on search engines and drive more organic traffic to your website.
- Call-to-action: Add a clear and compelling call-to-action on your landing page to encourage visitors to take the next step, such as filling out a form, making a purchase, or signing up for a free trial.
- Follow-up: Follow up with leads who have expressed interest in your product or service through your landing page or call-to-action. This can be done through email marketing, phone calls, or other means of communication.
By following these steps, you can create a marketing funnel using a press release to rank for a high search volume keyword, attract potential customers to your website, and convert them into leads and customers.
SEO Test Setup
Things keep progressing in my quest to make a living online. I have moved back to SEO traffic generation methods. There are many ways to produce targeted traffic.
The solo ad traffic was good for making me feel good about being able to convert clicks to subscribers. As far as email marketing goes it seems like I have a long way to go.
My list is still under 1000 people and is not a reliable source of data.
I reached a place where the guru I bought information from is now saying the complete opposite of what he teaches in this course and I am not able to pay for all the testing that needs to be done nor am I prepared to put a meaningful test together.
I have had success with getting a website indexed and some of its pages ranked in search.
Now, I am using ChatGPT to help me create content for my sites that I am working on.
I am also determined to lower the hours I am spending in front of my computer and grow an income to cover all my expenses and retire my wife from her job!
There is lots of time needed to create content with a.i. but it is way less than doing it all by hand.
I am working 2 angles. First, I am finding keywords with high search volume and low competition and second I am adding affiliate products, mostly Amazon.com products to my pages.
Having a traffic source that keeps sending me visitors without me having to continuously be paying for them will make it more sustainable. It takes lots of time to get SEO to reliably send you traffic.
I need to have that flow of traffic without the monetary investment until I can find an offer or promotion that I can keep having success with so I don’t go broke with a huge list!
Since I didn’t buy domains that already have rankings or traffic I have to generate it all myself.
I can leverage pr sites, quora, article submission sites, forums, and social media to get my content seen quickly. I can then send that traffic to a squeeze page or whatever I choose.
Plus, I can see the tasks I need to do right now and make myself a schedule or goal to get things done and moving forward.
By targeting the low-hanging fruit I expect to start getting traffic from search engines and from the sites I use to get my content out. Once the views start to flow I can direct the traffic where I want it.
The concept is similar to paid traffic where I get results, adjust for optimal results and repeat over and over.
That’s it for now.
Realizations and Rationalizations…
There are 2 things I need in the email marketing industry, an offer and a hungry market.
I’ve built a tiny list of prospects, hungry to make money online.
There are a literal Shit-ton of offers available to promote to people interested in making money online.
Here’s a little dilemma I’ve encountered: How do I sell something that I haven’t tried, don’t need and have no real interest in? How do I frame the offer that the market may need but I don’t?
Is it ethical to recommend a product that I never intend to try out?
What if I am interested but I haven’t had a chance to try it yet?
How do I ethically and honestly promote a product that may help the audience I’ve gained the attention of without being a total fraud?
I guess a car salesman doesn’t have every type of car in his garage as the types of cars he has available to sell, and it would be ethical of him to sell a family car to a family even though he prefers a sports car since he has no family to haul around himself.
How do I transfer that to digital products?
I am learning but it isn’t easy.
I want to uncover hungry markets, find the answer to their burning desire and sell it to them for a healthy profit.
That leads me to 2 of my sites, one about student loans and one about bankruptcy.
I enjoy using laws to give the institutions that are, “Too big to fail” a taste of their own medicine. I enjoy turning the tables on the big bullies who use laws to take property from people without ever taking any risk.
That doesn’t mean that I am going to file for bankruptcy or default on any student loan payments.
I can show people how to fight against the collectors and banks that are trying to drain them of all their income. I can find or create products in this market like others are already doing. I may also be able to sell ad space to professionals who can also help file paperwork and court documents in their proper locations.
There is so much I can do that it is overwhelming. I don’t know which ideas to sacrifice so I can focus on the ones I am most passionate about and will bring me the greatest amount of wealth.
For now, I need to work on developing a system that will help me get traffic flowing in to my sites and offers in a meaningful way.
That’s why I began using solo ads, it’s cheap traffic and converts into email list subscribers relatively easy. Now comes the hard part, selling them something.
I want to sell something useful. I need to sell something that will sell easily enough to pay me for my advertising and make me a healthy profit in the long term.
I know that my subscribers are interested in the make money online market. I know that they are looking for a way to turn their efforts into an income stream, like me!
With all the products available out there it is hard to find the right offer to send out.
I have a plan to follow from an email marketer that I know has been around for a long time because I ran into him many years ago and he is still selling products on warriorplus.com
This guy says to give away lots of information to my list and offer them products occasionally too. He also reminds the readers of his material to realize that his lists and results are going to be different than your, same with all the other lists out there.
He says that providing high quality content for free builds credibility and trust in you from your subscribers.
Another marketer I pay attention to says that you should be selling in every email you send out.
I think there may be a difference in the way they describe the same thing.
I think it is possible to be selling something in a subtle manner by hinting at something, kinda like setting up in the mind of your audience a situation that they may end up facing and how it could turn into a problem if not handled immediately then, in the next email provide the solution to the problem you just planted in their mind.
It sounds sinister but if you have genuine experience dealing with a problem that they may not yet be aware of in their business you will be a savior when you illuminate the issue and come along with the practical solution!
Now, I have to do some more studying and I have to do some implementation.
Under-Developed Fruit
My efforts and results have led me to this conclusion: I have to put more targeted content out there. I have to create more persuasive, targeted content that builds trust and inspires productive action!
How am I doing this?
I am using Ahrefs to find high search low competition keywords and then using ChatGPT to create content pertaining to those keywords.
My intention is to keep building on the blogs that I have. I can use the guidance of my keyword research and the content from ChatGPT to get lots of related relevant content out there and have it point to products I can make money from when sales are made.
This activity is a way to generate some buyer traffic so I can get back to buying solo ads and building my email list.
My 400-member email list is not generating sales and it is not cost-effective to continue building non buyer email lists.
I am studying how to get a better click through rate on the emails I’m sending out because I am getting around a .25% click through rate and that is not enough eyes to make a difference.
One coach is saying to give loads of free content and another is saying that just builds a list of freebie seekers.
Both of these guys are well-known email marketers that apparently have made millions of dollars as marketers.
It now comes down to me, how do I want to proceed?
What do I want?
I would like to send out an email and people just give me their money, but I don’t think that would be satisfying.
I do want to provide relevant information that is useable to my subscribers in a meaningful way. I want my information to be used and acted upon profitably.
I have multiple blogs in a few different niches.
I am creating content for each of them now. I am paying special attention to the blogs that have active email subscribers attached to them
Since I have had decent success building landing pages that convert visitors to subscribers I want to keep doing that but I also want to grow that subscriber base into customers that buy from me.
I keep flip-flopping on whether I should be building my own products or promoting affiliate products.
I keep expecting sales to start pouring in but I keep getting disappointed.
I am not sure what I need to do, exactly.
I need more eyes on my offers but I also need to be more persuasive and I need to bring great offers.
I have also found that a.i. is able to crank out content super fast. My plan is to put tons of a.i. content on my sites and see what starts getting traffic then start optimizing those pages for converting traffic.
I also want to do some more with traffic exchanges. I was able to convert a few visitors to subscribers using a free traffic exchange. It seemed to happen right away and then petered out.
What I think happened is my landing page was new and the “regulars” on the exchange actively surfing for traffic in exchange saw my landing page and signed up then it was just part of the rotation that they were shown over and over like I saw happen as I was surfing.
The only remedy I can figure is to rotate the traffic exchange I use more often. If I go through and use a new one everyday then I may be able to get new and different subscribers. After 10 or so times of finding a new source should allow me to go back through and do it again with a new audience, hopefully.
What I am also seeing is the other markets I may be able to capitalize on.
I have two methods of getting content for my site. Both use ChatGPT.
One way I just rely on the a.i. bot to give me ideas and content. The other way I find the keywords using Ahrefs and then use ChatGPT to generate the content, much faster than coming up with it on my own!
So far, my site WoofSecrets.com is pulling the most organic traffic. I don’t know how it is doing this but it is.
I am trying to recreate the effects on other sites based on content that interests me more but I am also aware that making money from the internet is my goal and I don’t have to be interested in what people buy from my sites’ suggestions.
I have 2 other sites, StudentLoanHacker.com and Top10Bankruptcyreviews.com that are based on credit, finance, and laws which are of huge interest to me.
That’s why I am excited about this content method using ChatGPT, it allows me to quickly and easily create content about topics that I know a little about but don’t know how to organize a coherent informational article on.
This blog is like a journal and I hope it finds the right people to help too!
Keeping On Keepin’ On…
The latest solo ads campaigns I’ve run have produced significantly higher opt-in rates since implementing the copywriting advice I have been studying.
It works to get people to open and read emails, even to sign up to your email list.
The conversion from subscriber to a customer is a bit different.
If I continue testing I may go broke. That doesn’t sell how to make money online info products for sure!
Well, maybe it does make for a good story…
“Destitute Hermit spends last $25 on Solo Ads And, Shockingly, This Is What Happened…”
Does that grab you a little? Does it make you wonder what happened?
Would you read about that?
Maybe I can set up a sales page, squeeze page or just an article with that title and run it to see if I get traffic or conversions.
Is it just clickbait?
Should I set it up and run it as the destitute hermit?
Since I don’t want to spend all my money to build up a list of subscribers and still make no money I have shifted my focus to “free” traffic methods.
Free means I have to spend my time attracting my audience with SEO articles or with Safelists and Traffic exchanges.
I did get around 10 new subscribers from one traffic exchange. Still, no buyer traffic but my list is growing. I spent about 2 days clicking useless links in the exchange in order to “earn” views to my squeeze page.
Most of my sign-ups came in the first few hours.
I need to do more testing but my theory is that I brought a new offer to the rotation and the people, like me, spending hours clicking the same offers saw mine and were interested, then it became another one of the same.
I am going to run the same page on another exchange and see my results.
If I get 5 or more subscribers from 2 more exchanges then I am going to find more.
One other method I tried that has gotten me some traffic is Quora.com.
I found some questions that get lots of views and I answered it and it got a few hundred views. It didn’t get click throughs or sales but it got viewed.
In the past I was unable to get views or traffic at all, now that I have been studying copywriting I have been getting better and better results.
When I am just spitting out words on these rambling blog posts I am not targeting anything specific and while there are some phrases and word judo techniques going on the whole thing is unorganized and unedited. I am just writing to write and think things out.
It helps but it is not intended to make sales.
Things are coming together, slowly, but I can see my goals getting closer. They don’t seem like fantasies that I never will realize anymore!
I do wish that I paid more attention to words sooner. I’ve always known there power but I didn’t know that I could learn how to wield that weapon for my own personal gain.
But, just like driving a car or firing a gun, caution must be taken.
Quick Update:
My efforts are bringing in trickles of traffic. The flood of paid traffic is nice but it hasn’t paid off, yet.
ChatGPT has potential and I am using it to create content about topics related to some of my blogs. I haven’t ranked it yet and I haven’t unleashed it’s content on the social media sites yet. I may be able to leverage the content into a fine traffic source if I can just get the formula right.
I am hoping that my problem is mainly lack of fresh eyeballs on my offers. I am working tirelessly on improving my follow-up because it is reported that money is in the follow-up.
Another improvement I need to make is my plan. I need to be more disciplined in my content creation.
Yesterday I was on this kick, from listening to Esther Hicks, channeling Abraham, where I ask myself, “what do I want?”
The response keeps turning my inner dialogue to what I don’t want or the obstacles keeping me from what I want and the question must be repeated and my focus shifted back to what it is I really want.
So, I keep writing what I want which is… to make money online, fast easy, and ethically.
I want to find something that I can easily do without spending lots of time, and I can charge money for it and feel good about trading my information for your money! I want this to run on autopilot, for the most part.
I’ve noticed that I really enjoy researching certain topics and exposing the discrepancies between public perception and reality, mostly with public interactions like law enforcement and debt collection.
Those police the police type Youtube videos steal way too much of my attention. I am hooked.
I also really like the way people have figured out how to deal with debt collectors and creditors.
Of course, I also enjoy learning about how search engines work and how websites gain exposure from the searches so that I can market different products and services.
I need to slow down and focus. There’s too much. I need to stop looking around and get busy building up what I have already started.
Adding new material and refreshing or updating old material regularly will help my sites gain exposure. By making the content good and useful I will earn staying power and by perfecting my messages with great copywriting I will be making money the way I want.
How Do I Proceed?
I have a few websites all with low content. I am on a mission to improve on them before adding new sites. As an affiliate I need to get the products I promote out to the audience that is seeking it. I am like a matchmaker, I find audiences, through keyword research, and I offer solutions with affiliate products.
I use ChatGPT to produce content on the subjects found through keyword research, put my copywriting skills to work to produce a call to action and rely on the products to sell themselves.
By focusing on high search volume and low competition keywords I expect to start getting traffic. Once I get traffic coming in I can focus more on the copywriting.
It is this weird system of test, get results, optimize and repeat…
How To Talk To Anyone
Psychology experts, well-versed in the art of communication, know how to connect with people, even complete strangers. In this article, you will be provided tips on how to break the ice and start a conversation with someone new, how to talk to anyone!
First and foremost, it’s essential to overcome any fears or anxieties that may be holding you back from approaching strangers. The benefits of meeting new people and expanding your social circle far outweigh the risks, and adopting a positive mindset and confidence will go a long way in helping you approach people with ease.
Once you’ve overcome any fear, the next step is finding common ground. It’s much easier to connect with someone when you have shared interests, so take the time to look for things that you have in common. This can be anything from a favorite hobby to a shared experience, and it’s an excellent way to initiate a conversation.
When it comes to starting a conversation, open-ended questions are your best friend. Asking questions that require more than a simple yes or no answer encourages the other person to share more about themselves, making it easier to build a connection. Additionally, active listening is key to building relationships. Engage in the conversation, show genuine interest, and ask follow-up questions to keep the discussion flowing.
Small talk is often seen as trivial, but it’s essential in initiating a conversation with someone new. The weather, current events, or even commenting on something in your immediate surroundings are all excellent ways to start a conversation. It’s crucial to make the other person feel comfortable, and small talk is a great way to do so.
However, sometimes conversations can become difficult or awkward. It’s essential to know how to navigate these situations. One technique is to acknowledge the awkwardness, and humor can be a great tool in breaking down barriers. However, if things become uncomfortable, it’s okay to transition to a new topic or even end the conversation gracefully.
Finally, nonverbal cues play a vital role in communication. Positive body language, such as eye contact and an open posture, can help to build trust and make the other person feel comfortable. However, avoid negative body language, such as crossed arms or a lack of eye contact, as it can send a message that you’re not interested.
In conclusion, learning how to talk to anyone is a valuable skill that can benefit you in many areas of your life. Overcoming fear and anxiety, finding common ground, asking open-ended questions, engaging in small talk, breaking through barriers, and utilizing positive body language are all crucial elements of initiating a conversation with a stranger. With practice, you’ll find that connecting with people is easier than you thought, and the benefits of meeting new people and expanding your social circle are endless.

Realizations…
It’s nearly impossible for me to help you do what I haven’t been able to do. But, I know it’s possible and I know it is helpful. Just think about sports coaches, they help world-class athletes achieve top-level performance even though they are not the ones in the match or in the competition.
How do I bring that to the make-money-online market?
Is it right for me to “coach” people on how to make money online from home if I am not making a living from it myself?
It is something I struggle with every day!
I just watched a Law of Attraction Youtube video that talked about focusing on what you want. The seeker asked the guru to help her get what she wants and the guru kept repeating to her, “focus on what you want.”
The seeker was responding with I want this BUT…
and she was prompted over and over again to focus on what she wants and she would get back to talking about how she wants to do something but this other something is in the way…
The conversation went on for a few minutes with the seeker and guru exchanging words. The seeker had great difficulty focusing on what she wanted because of all the BUTs in the way.
I, like the seeker in this story, find myself focusing on the buts and not the wants most of the time.
Even right now, I want to make money online. I want to make lots of money online. I want to make lots of money online easily. I want to make money online easily and be helpful to people who also want to make money online.
Now’s where my mind wanders into the dark side of this process and comes up with all the buts. What if I only focus on what I want?
At first it seems selfish. It is selfish, not just seems that way!
I question the fact that selfish is bad. We are told to be selfless and to do for others. Be thoughtful and be kind as if they are only acts for others and I would argue that all of our actions are self-fulfilling in nature. You are necessary in all your actions and without you, you have nothing.
You be kind to others so they will treat you kindly, it’s the “Golden Rule” you selflessly do kindness to others… so they do kind things to you… is that selfless? You get something for your actions whether you like it or not. There is a saying, “no good deed goes unpunished”
That’s my reasoning for acting selfishly.
And, that leads back to my desire to make lots of money online easily and effortlessly.
I want to make lots of money so I can have more freedom to do more for my happiness. I want to share the knowledge I’ve discovered that helps me, and you, make money online.
That thought brings back the thought of the Law of Attraction and thinking about what I want. Focus on what I want. What can I do to get closer to what I want?
If I stop and look at the obstacles then is my focus diverted from what I want or is it necessary in order to know what I am moving away from?
Uh-oh, I am losing focus…
I want to make money from the comfort of my home. I want to do things that I can share with others and it will make me money and help you make money.
I have studied the tools and tactics reportedly used by those who’ve gone before me that has, allegedly, created the sort of wealth I desire.
One of my websites, SoloAdsProfit.com, is about using Solo Ads to market make money online products as an affiliate and as a product creator. The problem is that I haven’t been able to crack the code between finding prospects and converting leads into customers.
I know how to put the message out that I have the information prospects are seeking but I don’t have a powerful enough message that the info actually works.
Part of my problem is that I am using the info and its not producing the desired results which means that either my info is bad or I am doing it wrong.
Since I want to make money online and I know how to search for other markets and I know how to create content around those markets, like my info says to do, I can “branch out” into one of these markets and create that content and Monetize it.
There is tons of info available. There are innumerable markets and an even greater amount of angles to serve those markets.
I want to make money online. I am intent on accomplishing that task. My idea to do that is to find a search term that has thousands of monthly searches and low competition. I have tools to help me do that and I have studied methods to make that happen.
I know that people are being herded to Udemy.com to take digital courses on a huge number of topics. I know that information is a valuable commodity and if I could see what Udemy is getting visitors for then I may be able to create that content and serve it to the market.
While Youtube gurus are telling people to use ChatGPT to create content and sell it on Udemy.com I have decided to create the content in order to give it away.
I provide the content that people are searching for and Google send people to me to get that content.
I found something about how to talk to people. It is a searched topic that doesn’t have too much competition.
I can use ChatGPT to help me create some content that I have a good chance of ranking in the search engines for and I can put affiliate links to Amazon products people can buy and earn me a commission.
I want to add a lesson I can send out to my email subscribers documenting my process so I can establish my credibility and I can help them or inspire them to act similarly and also make money online!
How do I go about that?
I am glad you asked!
I will write a series of blog posts about the matter at hand and then I will send out an email that previews it and links to it. On the actual blog I will create a topic that I research and give a link to more in depth books written on the topic by professional authors.
Traffic Exchange Builds My List For FREE
I may have found a new way to build an email list.
These traffic exchanges where you surf other marketers’ sites and in turn you earn credits to have your sites shown to them.
When I first heard of them I did what I now see others doing and that is relying on this type of traffic to get visitors to visit any site when the folks that are actually clicking on links are just trying to get visitors to their offer.
Now, I have a different take on this type of traffic source.
I know, because it applies to me as well, that people who are surfing these sites need traffic!
I will never advertise any website that I am an affiliate of on these sites again knowing what I now know.
These exchanges have the type of visitors that I can cater to.
I am creating landing pages that build my list when people sign up to my promotion.
I build squeeze pages that offer to generate traffic. That is what these folks want, I know because it’s what I want and why I’m there.
I just figured out my new plan last night.
I also began getting sign-ups to my list by using special targeted squeeze pages that are directed at those who are seeking to build up a list of email subscribers using free adswap type traffic.
I am getting the sign-ups on my list and I created a campaign to promote a list-building software.
Let me be clear, I know that what I am doing works to get subscribers from this source of leads but I am still a novice when it comes to converting subscribers into paying customers.
I am actively working on cracking this code but it proves elusive.
Copywriting is working to get me more subscribers on my email list but I am still lost when it comes to conversions. I am looking toward the future and having a large list of subscribers to market to because I believe that my ad copywriting is ok it is just that I don’t have the recognizability of other trusted marketers and I don’t have social proof that my money making methods will work.
What I am working on is getting better at building a list of prospects and by proving to them that my traffic methods work they will gain trust, and leave testimonials, and that in turn will lead to converting new leads into customers.
I guess that means I have to find a way to get my leads to see the success I am having (or at least give them access to this idea I’m having success with) so they can copy me and I gain some credibility in their eyes.
What is the plan to do this?
Why do this?
This is an evergreen market. I used to spend hours with a special browser and tons of links promoting different exchanges and getting nowhere.
Yesterday and today I’ve spent a bit of time (off and on about 4 hours?) and I have added 6 leads to my list.
I had no idea this was going to work at all, in fact I was quite skeptical!
I know it’s not tons of subscribers or the top way I want to spend my time but it is working without requiring me to spend money.
That gives me opportunity to improve my results and I have an idea how…
A testimonial from me!
If I send my lists an email that talks about my success in a way that shows my excitement because of my success but not too much hype that it is unrealistic that should get me some traction to help my efforts.
This is the part where I must make a decision.
If I send visitors that also sign up under me I get a bonus of traffic. If I am a paying customer I will get a bonus of traffic and earn a commission when someone I recommend buys.
