As I listen to some youtube videos from Marcus Campbell I get tons of ideas and I feel confident that what he says is going to work for me. He tries to give an accurate depiction of what internet marketing is like but he is coming from the experienced side of things. His experience does help me have confidence that the stuff I’m doing because of the info he shares seems like a good idea. He make sure to give his disclaimer in just about every video he makes how the results are not typical, implied or guaranteed and that makes him believable.

I have bought tools and products based on his recommendations. I believe that I can use at least one of his ideas and run with it to make money online, consistently!

You can check out his stuff on youtube yourself and see what I’m talking about. The hardest part is getting a good step by step, start here and do this then do this, guide to know the best course of action for you. It makes sense though. You have to do some work no matter what.

The gurus that make outlandish claims are going away because the real folks are getting a voice these days. The concept of why would someone sell or even give away their marketing plan is making sense, especially in the make money online niche market. Once you get past the clickbank products made for you to learn how to make money selling their how to make money scheme it starts to make some sense.

For me, finding little hacks and tweaking little codes is kind of fun. Also, finding keywords with some sort of angle and low competition is like a treasure hunt. Once I find a treasure I’m ready to go look for another. Going through and cataloguing all the individual pieces of the treasure is too tedious and doesn’t interest me.

What I’m trying to say is I can find the right keywords, the right offer and the right traffic method but I don’t know how to say hey buddy here’s that thing you were looking for, buy it now for just$99.99 and not feel like some opportunistic a-hole!

That being said, I just watched Marcus find weird random facts that he is using for their high traffic searches and their nonspecific search to offer some more generic products that pay for a simple email submit for maybe some coupons.

I want to make money from what I’m already doing. I am paying for keyword research. I think it may benefit you to see some of that research. I’v seen people on Youtube make money by giving things away. My main product I just started offering is to buy a domain, set up a profit grabbing niche blog and get some content up on it for free search engine traffic. I will put together a little package where I will provide a list of relevant keywords, a product suggestion to go along with the niche and a few expired domains you can go out and buy.

There are also ways to get free traffic using free sites where you can market your affiliate products. If that interests you please leave a comment and I will make more content covering that method and possibly do an experiment with free resources to make money online.

That gives me another couple of projects to put up a page offering a product and a splash page to offer a lead magnet to get some email subscribers!

I have a list of words that can be used to find a niche. I will use some of them and find some low competition high search volume keywords in a general market. I will take some of those and go deeper into a few of these terms and put something useful together.

Many of the make money online products and coaching programs make it seem like there is one super secret that is holding you back from millions and millions.

I do know that people are making money online today in 2022. I’ve also recently been shown that advertising hasn’t changed much since the early 1900’s, at least!

Making money without leaving the house is a very appealing concept to me. Figuring out how to do it has proven difficult.

It’s one of those simple things that isn’t easy. Things have been coming into focus in a good way lately. I have a solid plan.

Today I did some planning and wrote some content for my email list and my blog. I really need to get after my keyword research and getting some content written.

I also have to come up with some sort of giveaway for building up my email list. It’s hard to imagine putting in all this planning and work to sell my site. It’s going to be tough to let go.

I have to set some goals for my earnings and some limits to time spent on these blogs.

Awhile back I read a book called “The 4 Hour Work Week” by Timothy Ferris. He was heavily in favor of outsourcing things you don’t want to do and things that are mundane that keep you from the profitable activities and from the things you want to do.

With unlimited funds and no care for return that would be nice. In order to achieve anything like this you have to have a good plan and good systems.

What value am I going to provide to allow me free time? I am helping people find what they are looking for. I am helping vendors sell more.

I am employing writers. I may have to hire programmers and lawyers. An accountant may be in order and some customer service employees.

With the right plan I can feed lots of people. With the right system I can make it easy and almost automatic feeding.

When I first got into this I fell for the ads that made me believe a little work would pay me huge sums of money for the rest of my life. I am shaking my head at my old self.

Now I am able to see that the easy button is just a metaphor for being able to do what you enjoy and prosper for it.

How can I help, enjoy it and make a living?

I have always been a seeker. I want to know about things. How they work. Why they work the way they do.

Keyword research and marketing, learning about different markets and sharing my findings is a joy for me.

Now I am finding ways to earn a living from my hobby. Selling my services allows me to afford to do more experiments and learn more.

In the morning I have to find my path to profit with my forex website. I have too many theories and lots of work to get this moving in my direction.

Have you been introduced to the sales funnel idea yet? It’s where you find a market that you can get traffic in and get their email addresses. Once you have their emails you begin offering products for them to buy. Each time they enter a different level in your “funnel” and begin to spend more and more with you.

It is a great idea and a great way to look at the sales process and it makes you, the marketer, able to focus on your customers based on where they are at. I just read through a short intro guide to the concept of funnels and that is what inspired this post.

Just the day before yesterday I decided to offer my mailing list a service where I find a niche for you, buy the domain, build a blog and add content to drive traffic to affiliate offers. I don’t have a funnel yet. I went for the final product before warming up my audience, you, for my big offer.

I bought the domain a couple of months ago and it had backlinks already. It was not ranking for any keywords that I could find and it’s not getting much traffic at all right now. I wrote some content and posted it on there but it wasn’t the right keywords or the right angle to either generate traffic or sales.

So, it’s back to the drawing board for this project and it’s a good place to start showing what I can do and the reality of what happens when you are marketing affiliate products. There is a lot more to it than putting your affiliate link all over the internet and hoping that you sell something.

Now, I am also working this funnel angle. How do I sell my services and sell affiliate products?

Here’s what I am going to do, in order to “funnel” those interested where they will receive the info they are interested in I am going to use my Aweber email autoresponder to create another list for people interested in my experiment with ForexWizard.org.

As I work on the project and document the steps I am taking I will also be showing my skills as a market researcher. This is part of my main offer to find niche and build a website to profit from that niche, FOR YOU!

I am also thinking that I should put together a smaller offer where I find a niche for my subscribers. Maybe a free service where I post keyword lists of results from researching new niches. Then maybe a product where I buy a domain and offer my research for ideas to generate traffic and charge less and let you do the work to build it out.

I am just putting my ideas out there. I will have to refine them, see what is generating interest and see what actually makes me money.

I like looking at data and trying to figure out how to use it for marketing. I don’t like making content about the info. I also don’t like spending time learning about markets that I am not interested in, like dating. I am happily married and looking into how to get a boyfriend, since I am a man and have a wife, makes no sense for me but there is a huge market out there for that niche. There are people who need help in that area and there are experts who can help and I can be the affiliate to get them together, I just don’t need the service and don’t know about the tactics that work to get a boyfriend since I never needed one.

There are so many keywords that lead to so many markets it’s mind boggling. I don’t have the time to go into them all. I want to do some of the work and I want to use what I know to help others do the same in different markets. I know how to find the markets and I know how to find the products but I am still having a hard time being the middle man. I don’t know how to sell very well.

Now that my offer is available it’s time to start making content to attract buyers. I am going to go into the first step to making a profitable niche blog.

I need a market with a specific need. In order to be successful quickly the target needs to be easy to hit. I will start by using some words that by themselves don’t have any specific market.

I am using ahrefs to put in a few keywords like lesson, learn, how to, what is, when should, how do…

By paying attention to the results I should be able to find something with a large amount of searches and low competition.

The competition can be low on paid traffic if I’m buying clicks or it can have a low “KD” or keyword difficulty score if I’m trying to rank in the organic listings on the search engines.

Once I find something worth pursuing I will use my spamzilla tool to search for a relevant expired domain with ranking keywords and relevant back links.

Since I am just starting out and am not charging much I am not buying any auction domains. In the future I am aware that spending on the right domain can really speed up the ranking and traffic getting results.

I put together a simple landing page (super simple) to tell people what I’m offering and an order page that will collect payment for me. I had trouble getting the paypal button to show up and take payments. Some option I had selected:

I am not 100% certain what that does but I unchecked it and all the other stuff in the sidebar on my wordpress post and page writing area.

Anytime I went in and adjusted anything it took the Paypal button away and I had a tough time getting it put together even though the page looks very basic, which it is, but it took a lot of my brain power to get it to look this good.

The thing about affiliate marketing that I like and what I won’t have to worry about when building the niche sites is that the affiliate network handles the payment process. I don’t have to put paypal or any other order buttons on a site because the niche blogs are built to send customers to the offer and the offer is meant to convert.

Some offers are CPA which means you can get paid for simply getting a zipcode or an email. Some offers require preselling a product.

At times we will need to build a customer email list and sell products to people who’ve already purchased through our affiliate links or even products we’ve developed.

For example, I have to build a customer list of people interested in what I’m doing with these niche sites by writing about the process and showing what I’m doing and the struggles I am facing that could cause problems for others.

Now I’ve got a working landing page, an order page and a plan.

I have invested in some tool for keyword research, email autoresponder, domain research and clipart & Snag-it image editor for designs on my webpages.

You should have received my first post in this series this morning. I setup a page to very briefly describe what I’m doing and sell my Domain purchase and niche blog setup service. I’m having issues getting a paypal button set up and able to accept payments from my product page.

The page itself is not even looking pretty or optimized with sales getting messages. I just put up a few sentences describing in very simple sentences what I am selling. Every time I put the code in from the paypal site and hit update and refresh my page there’s nothing.

This is the part that really gets my blood boiling! I just want to set up a simple button to accept payments so I can provide a service to my customers and it seems impossible. There’s nothing on my site. The original button that I had on there last night was erased because it didn’t do what I expected.

If you are interested in this service still please be patient with me. I may have to get some pro help or will have to buckle down and spend all kinds of time to figure this out and I’ll have more blog content to post with a guide to setting up PayPal on your site.

This is why I like being an affiliate and getting paid from Clickbank or any other affiliate network. They deal with the setup of payments and charge customer and send you your commission check. I like setting up the blogs and adding pages with pictures and designs but the payment processors are so confusing and difficult to get setup and working properly, for me at least!

If you’ve been involved with internet marketing more than 5 minutes you’ve heard that the money is in the list. If it is I haven’t found it yet. In the next few weeks I intend to transform or build a new responsive email list that earns me a profit. I have already built a list of nearly 1400 people that I received using Solo Ads. I don’t get a high response rate with the subscribers on this list. I don’t know how to fix it, yet…

I will be sending updates on how I am changing my strategy and building myself a list of subscribers who are actually buying what I recommend. In order to do that I have to learn about the products I am recommending with better research from me or someone I hire to do it for me. I also need to find a way to grow my list and sell affiliate products in order to make money.

I have to admit that I have done most of my research in the make money online niche because most of the products I’ve bought have been in this market. I get that distraction from the next shiny object that sparkles near me and go off on tangents that are not productive for me. I want to use what I’ve learned to get better results so I am going to record and report my findings by talking about the products I am using and the sites I am developing to build my customer list.

This next few weeks of experiments will be compiled into a pdf report with the best methods exposed. Here on the blog you’ll get to see if something fails and what works. When I’ve found a few things that are working I will compile them into a guide for quick reference on what works.

The guide will be a potential “hook” to be given away in exchange for an email submit. If people sign up then I know they are interested in building a customer email list.

They will need to get an autoresponder so I can talk about the one I’m using and which ones I’m not using and why.

They will also most likely be interested in hosting and domain buying.

Website building is something else that I can talk about. I kind of like building the sites. I have trouble writing ads that sell. That is another topic I can cover as I learn about it.

I will need to figure out things I can do to make money besides selling other people’s products or will I focus solely on affiliate products?

I will delve into how I am doing my keyword research. I like finding the keywords but I don’t like doing all the research and writing on the topics I find. There are too many keywords to choose from and so many avenues to profit from the findings. How will I make money?

I am very interested in selling via email. I am also interested in putting together simple websites that sell something and then sell the sites and repeat the process. Of course I will keep the most profitable ones.

I have to learn how to drive traffic, profitably, to my sites.

To the email list I’ve already built, I am going to experiment first on sending these blog posts to them as free content because it helps to see what is actually working. I am learning how to build profitable wordpress blogs.

My make money online studies have taught me how to find keywords that are low competition and easier to rank for in the search engines. I also understand how to order articles to post relevant content that ranks in the search engines. I also know how to put together simple splash page style landing pages.

I know that anyone can make those claims and I’d like prove it by doing exactly as I would for you on some sites I am currently building. I will disclose how I do this in the next few blog posts and send updates on the stats and offer them for sale.

This is a common theme encountered in the make money online niche. People need $100 now and there are plenty of clickbait youtube videos and unethical warrior+ products out there preying on the desperation of the uneducated and the lazy gullible gamblers. There are marketers who pose as hard workers who have been, “just like you”, struggling to make ends meet and then suddenly, as if by magic, they all of a sudden get it and are now on the fast track to multi million dollar days on demand by simply copy and pasting while just watching Youtube videos! While they make it seem like all you are going to have to do is simply copy and paste a few paragraphs here and there you will also be able to make a fortune almost instantly, online, it isn’t that simple.

We all know that it is possible to make a great living online these days most of us don’t have clue where to start and it is not likely that you are going to find yourself in need of $100 right now and just watch Youtube and make that hundred today. It may be possible, you may get lucky, or you may find that magic bullet but for the vast majority of us all those ridiculous claims are just titles for entertaining articles and videos. Most of us need to focus. We have to make educated decisions on how to spend our time and efferts to make any money online. In fact, most people who try never make anything online. We end up funding all those gurus to entertain us with their outrageous videos on how to so easily make money online and we never see a dime from our replication efforts.

Is there an simple way to make money online?

Is there a fast way to earn a living from the internet?

I do believe both are possible but it is not EASY! It will take considerable effort and requires a great deal of knowledge, focus and perseverance. Having a mentor and the will to push through roadblocks is imperative to success. There is a mountain of opportunities waiting to be worked. When you search for something as simple as make money online you get 3-3/4 billion results to start with:

Most of these results are going to try and sell you some program or the latest fad to make a quick buck online. This market is mostly geared to get the desperate to part with what little cash they have in exchange for the promise of a quick, easy buck. It is aimed at the gamblers who don’t really want to spend the time to actually learn something that they can use. It sells the promise that you can do something once and it will return waterfalls of cash without any effort whatsoever.

We are all aware that it is possible to earn a very comfortable living online. We are led to believe that because we aren’t digging ditches or performing brain surgery that it is going to be pure passive income after a 5 minute copy and paste session. It’s not! There are ways to make a lot of money online without large investments and without tons of manual labor. There are copy and paste elements of the methods but it is not a one and done thing. It takes some creativity. It takes some knowledge of your market. It takes market research. It takes focus to find out what your market is, what it wants and how to deliver it to them.

Let’s look at affiliate marketing:

At 419 million results you can see there are way less options to consider but still many lifetimes of info to look through. Much of the top results are also aimed at the same make money online crowd. It is a promise of easy money for little to no work. However, the actual concept is very valid. There are people earning huge sums of money by simply directing customers to certain products. There are even some marketers that get paid when you simply put in your zip code into their special form! It is simple, easy and pays well with very little work. The hard part is knowing how to find the offer, then find the customers interested in the offer and getting them to perform the desired action.

That means, you have to be able to find or create the market for these offers and you have to do it ethically and legally. There is also the actual building of all the moving parts. What then would I focus on, what can I do, right now, to get $100?

I believe the answer is to sell something using paid advertisements such as Facebook ads or Google Adsense. I would have to have a product or service that I could sell for more than $100 in order to pay me my $100 and pay for the ads. Or, I could sell something that lots of people want, for less than $100 but enough people buy that it also pays me my $100 and pays for my ads. That little concept of paying for traffic to buy something from me and generate a profit is important but that is the easy part. Now comes the million dollar question, what do I sell?

In order to get paid right away you need to have inventory on hand or it needs to be a digital product that you can sell easy and lots. Actually, that is not entirely accurate. If you are able to get the offer in front of the right customer at the right time then you can get paid right away. That is going to take some knowledge. You have to have studied your market and know how to sell using ads or get really lucky. There is also compliance with advertising guidelines.

Just like regular businesses can’t sell chicken and tell you it’s tuna you can’t mislead people online either or you will be banned. Not only that, you have to be aware of the types of products the ad platforms frown upon and penalize you for selling even if you have the best intentions. Healthcare products like vitamins and supplements can fall into this category, as an example. So, I ask again, what would I sell if I needed $100 right now? Is there a service or a digital product that I could offer that will follow all the guidelines and sell for enough to make me the profit I seek?

A special report or instructions on how to do something like woodworking or website building might work. That is going to take some effort to accomplish, especially the woodworking (at least for me) since I have to actually do the thing that I am suggesting and I have to write a useful guide to do the thing. Then there is content-less books or coloring books. That has lots of competition. I’d have to have some brilliant ad copy and sell tons because it is a low cost item. I could research and compile some sort of templates. That might be profitable. There is also the idea of aggressively selling domains.

That last idea is resonating with me. Can I find, research and then sell valuable domains to local businesses for a quick $100? That is a possibility. That is going to take some work but I don’t have to build a website. I don’t have to figure out how to write ads. I don’t have to invest in tons of inventory. I could buy a website for around $10 and potentially sell it to the right business for hundreds to thousands of dollars. There isn’t a whole ton of market research necessary either. Something like NYPlumber.com may be valuable to the right business.

As a disclaimer, I do have some experience researching keywords and domain values. Expired domains and auction domains have the potential to deliver targeted traffic that businesses are already targeting. The expired domains often have backlinks, from relevant domains, that allows the search engines to pick them up and rank them quickly. Established businesses can capitalize on the traffic already being generated from these links or they can put in some time and effort and quickly increase the rankings and also add new content targeting other keyword terms and since they are already getting noticed they will quickly be indexed and picked up for that new content.

The right auction domains often come with already ranked, relevant keywords that are an already performing asset driving valuable traffic to the business! My job is to find that value, purchase the domain and then flip it to the proper customer. As long as I can buy the domain right now I can flip it almost immediately in order to make that $100 right now! The next part of this journey is to put it into practice. Of course you can go out and rob someone and possibly get away with it and be the shameful possessor of $300 that you got real fast. That might work for some low life with no conscience but for the rest of us that are broke or just in need of an extra 300 dollars, right now, how do we go about getting it fast? We could get lucky with a lottery ticket or at the casino. We could go out and find an extra job. A job is one of the best, most surefire ways to earn $300. That could even happen relatively fast. Chances are that is going to be a bit difficult if you already have a full time job. There is only so much time in the day!

How then does one go about getting $300 dollars fast? Affiliate marketing in one form or another is a fast way to earn extra income without spending tons of time at another job. If you have an income or some cash stored up you could even outsource most of the work. Of course this assumes that you already have a plan an an understanding of the process you are going to market affiliate products. You have to do market research, product research and you have to know how to hire competent workers. It’s more sustainable than the buy a lottery ticket or risk your money on the roulette tables but it is also a risk with a long learning curve.

You could sell your stuff, assuming you have something or things worth $300. That takes time too. You have to list it for sale or go out and market it or sell it at a pawn shop. You could mow some lawns. If you already have a skill like carpentry or other construction there are usually people that can use your skills and that pays well. Again, you have to have both skills and tools to do that and if you don’t you have to invest time or money to get them.

Arbitrage is another form of buy low and sell high. You can use this for all sorts of markets. It works in the stock market, job market, online advertising market and with domain names. You have to find something that you can buy at a low price and sell at a higher price. That also requires investment in learning and finding both inventory and buyers. Here are a few ideas on how to go about finding markets to flip goods and services to:

Domain Flipping:

1. Go to a site Godaddy.com and buy a valuable domain
2. Then go to auctions.godaddy.com and sell it for more than you bought it.

If the site doesn’t sell for a profit then you could either repeat the process with another valuable domain but instead buy cheap traffic and sell it for more. Another version would be to buy the cheap traffic and sell a related product or service and earn a profit that way. For example, buy traffic for mortgage amortization calculator and have your visitors click on your ads that pay you for people refinancing their mortgage or new home buyers who are looking for a mortgage loan.

A little bit slower, and less expensive way, is to use SEO to get traffic to your site and sell that traffic with Adsense or to other advertisers for more. You could also look at it as sending the “free” traffic to your affiliate offers. Making money fast is relative. There are ways to set up payment collection buttons on Paypal or Stripe or whatever payment processor you use and have the money deposited directly into your account. You could potentially have a button right on your new domain that allows visitors to click the button and buy your site immediately.

Ebay is a good way to sell your stuff and get paid right away too. If you have good stuff that people want you could set up a buy it now button and have it so;d and the money deposited right into your account immediately and have your $300 today! Just make sure to ship your customers goods to them right away!

Advertising your skills on a site like Craigslit.org and performing the tasks you advertise, if they are in high demand, can also bring you some much needed funds in a crunch. All of these tasks and skills are able to be bought and sold online, markets within markets. All these things can be bought and sold at the speed of light! As soon as you let the right people know what you have to offer you can get the funds you desire!

Of course it all comes easy in a made up scenario. There are papers, articles and books written on each of the mentioned ideas in this post. Taking the time to study that which you desire to implement will give you the best chance for success. A friend wants to invest in the stock market and he thinks that buying a subscription to a popular newsletter that offers a couple of stock picks each week is going to answer all of his investment needs. I keep telling him to get the subscription if he really believes in it but to also put his money in something that guarantees a rate of return, like a cd, and invest in a paper trading account like he would with his own money and see if after 6 months to a year he is happy with how it performs. He won’t listen because he thinks he doesn’t have the time. He just received an inheritance and it took longer than expected for the funds to settle and be granted to him.

He tells me that he doesn’t have the time to learn about how to invest. He thinks a $99 one year subscription to this newsletter is going to grant him the funds he needs to retire in the near future. While it could happen, he has no idea what his expectations are. He doesn’t know what he wants to happen except to make money. He doesn’t even know how to place an order with his broker to buy stock. He feels like he is missing out on potential earnings even though he doesn’t know how to evaluate a stock or its chart. All I could do, after he asked my opinion on the newsletter, was to tell him to invest in the surest thing and educate himself and he told me he doesn’t have time for that, was to say “good luck!” I mentioned that not taking the time now and educating yourself, is going to leave you later with less time and no money!

$300 is not a huge amount of money these days. It is a fun amount to spend though! Getting it shouldn’t take too much time or need too much education. Building an income stream to keep $300 payments coming in, each day, will take work. Invest in your education and build up your experience. Use the knowledge you gain to win or lose and take that experience and learn from it to create more wins and get that cash to flow in!
