Reporting results and gains on email open rates can be manipulative.

With email segmenting you can select only a certain segment of your subscribers get your message.

When you create a segment of the most active subscribers, you end up with open rates that are off the charts.

But, unless you have a follow-up system to nurture those subscribers you end up with a bunch of people on a list who open your emails and that’s it!

How do you get clicks on email links?

That is the problem I am solving right now for myself and my subscribers.

I bought some kind of traffic system that cost me around $20 to see if it works or not.

It is some kind of rotator that my link gets show on and I’m a little confused but I did get some traffic and maybe even a sale when I bought a similar product in the past.

We’ll see and I need to go and buy more Solo ads to get more signups for sure.

My opt-in rate has been through the roof but my click through rate to emails opened is 0.

I have no clicks from my emails.

It is safe to say that I am failing at email marketing right now.

I think that the people who continuously open my emails are doing so automatically, which is nice because it keeps my emails in their inbox, but it does nothing as far as tell me what makes people click on email links.

My links are not what they are looking for or compelling enough to make them stop and be interested.

Regardless, I am making progress and I do have ideas to make more money in the future using these concepts.

This time around I am not going crazy building a huge list until I start getting more link clicks but I also need subscribers to test my skills so I am building as I go but using what I have to find what it is I have that works!

I know that email marketing is a legitimate business plan but I don’t know how to capitalize on it.

I am making it happen but it sure takes a ton of time.
