In other words, does it seem like all these guys making money are telling you how to trick other fools into buying what they hyped you up into buying and hope that they are as foolish as you?

The bigger fool syndrome, pyramid schemes…

Well, we all know that making money online is a very real thing and we all seem to be captivated by the concept of pushing a few buttons a few times from the comfort of our homes and becoming online millionaire success stories. The marketing is magnificent. We all also know that there is no free ride on easy street. There is work involved. What is that work?

How do we get into that work and make it profitable?

Is it real for me?

Can I make a living from my home computer?

What sort of time investment is necessary?

How much money do I have to shell out before I see a pay off?

Is passive income real?

Is there some secret underground method I need to unlock in order to see success?

These are the realities we face as beginner internet/Affiliate/digital marketers and work from home entrepreneurs. We know that there are people out there making money from the comfort of their own homes. We want to know how to get in on this. We know it’s possible and we know it’s just a click away. We don’t know how to get there and it is very frustrating. We know that there is some way to organize all this info and procedure we’ve been fed in order to make a healthy income online.

But… What is it?

What is the secret?

Can we just “think and Grow Rich?”

Can we manifest what we want by simply thinking about something hard enough and have the universe wrap up our greatest desire in a shiny package and deliver it to our front porch if we just think about it hard enough?

Is there a secret reliable method for generating unlimited wealth, on demand, from our keyboards?

Is there a simple technique or method that we can spend a little time learning and implement it to pay us indefinitely?

Do we have to spend years and years learning how to think and find the secret hack to unlock that elusive method to unlimited riches?

I am right here with you trying to find those secret techniques that the ‘Gurus’ tout. I have been, off and on, researching, implementing and being disappointed in the results I’ve been sold. I am not here to tell you that I’ve found the magic bullet to that sacred hack to unlock ultimate freedom and happiness with the click of a mouse.

 

The Real Secret

Just like, “the secret ingredient in the secret ingredient soup” from Kung Fu Panda I have found that there is no secret. And, just like Solomon from the Bible says, “there is nothing new under the sun.”

If you look at old magazines and newspapers, watch old T.V. commercials and notice their methods you won’t see much innovation. There are many new commercials every day and new products making exaggerated claims constantly but the methods are not new. Advertisers want you to buy their products so they make pumped up claims or practical ones to make sure they cover all the bases possible in order to maximize sales.

So, we must ask ourselves, what are we really going to do or discover that isn’t already being used or already working?

How can we use from what is known to help us tap into the program to produce some profits without trying to reinvent the wheel?

What can we do to get our piece of the internet marketing pie without breaking the bank?

What can we spend our precious time on to get our part of the multi billion dollar dream being made on a daily basis by our competitors?

What do I have to do to make a comfortable living from the internet in the comfort of my home?

The answers lie in the data.

“How do I use the data,” I can hear you think.

Where is the data hidden?

How do I unlock the secret strategies to bank millions overnight?

Well, you just have to learn how to copy success that is already all around you.

You can probably tell by my questions and my tone that I’ve been around a few gurus and had a few experiences with some hyped up marketing that didn’t go my way. I am not her to tell you that I have been doing this and that and had some sort of great epiphany that suddenly catapulted me to the godhood of internet marketing. I don’t have some story of sadness and loss that drove me to the brink of doom and now because of my great insight I have the one method to solve not only my problems but yours too.

What I have discovered is what I am proficient at. I know how to use tools, I know my weakness is lack of focus and I know my strength is that I can complete technical tasks. I can build a website. I can find low competition high traffic keywords. I can hire writers to create content about my keywords but I am not very good at organization or creating sales copy. I am not comfortable selling things. I am not sure how to make an offer to someone without feeling responsible for my recommendations.

I like to be sure about what I say. I have trouble because of all the conflicting points of view available to me. The data doesn’t lie. The amount of people searching for certain things, which is data available from the search engine companies and keyword tools, is available to help us. We can see what people are looking for. We can look at what companies like Google are displaying when certain things are searched. We can produce similar results. We can target terms that are not being targeted and use the algorithms to make our work appear superior to what’s available.

The results are already out there and we can see them and build upon them. We can target terms that we know we can do better than what is available. Especially when those results are not optimized the way we know the search engines want them to be. For example, when there is a term that has lots of searches but the results are not very specific or targeted and there are sites or media that are ranking but not exactly for what is being searched then we have an in to the market.

Using keyword tools like aHrefs or ubersuggest to find low competition keywords and phrases and then creating content about those terms by hand or by outsourcing then posting it on your blog or using the proper outlet that will rank your message the highest in the search results can prove to be highly profitable. At least that’s what I’ve been told and that is what I am targeting now.

What I am struggling with is how to make consistent income and rank quickly. I am also dabbling with PPC marketing. I am looking for the best combo of terms, offers and responses. I have one campaign running on Adwords right now and I am looking for more ways to capitalize on the Google traffic. I don’t have a high traffic niche and I don’t have a high quality ad writer (me) to get me the most optimized traffic to my offer.

I am also looking into ways to actually produce an income from my online efforts. I am looking into a way to sell my services effectively. I said earlier that I can build a website. I know how to hire writers to produce content. I am able to locate highly searched terms that have little targeted competition. I may be able to sell web building services and maybe even content management services. The problem I have with that is the age old question, if you can build a site, produce content and generate relevant traffic why wouldn’t you do it for yourself?

My only answer is lack of creativity. I don’t have the mental capacity to think up all the potential markets and keywords along with the marketing methods available to properly profit from them. I am always getting sidetracked by all the potential. I lack focus. Right now I am mostly looking into finding expired and auction domains with backlinks and keyword rankings that I can buy, build up and resell for a profit. Along the way I can profit from affiliate products attached to the keyword research and free traffic already coming from the backlinks and ranked keywords.

This Post is a Test

The title of this post is a highly searched keyword that doesn’t have tons of competition. If you are seeing it that means I am doing what I set out to do. You know that what my research says is true. You also know that my traffic boosting methods are pushing this blog page above the others that are also ranking for this term.
